About Ms. Helen Schwertz
Helen brings over 15 years of specialized experience working with toddlers and children with ADHD and autism to her role as Program Advisor at MindSproutLab. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, she is a practicing psychologist in Europe and a certified DIR Floortime specialist, bringing deep expertise in child development and neurodevelopmental differences.
Throughout her career, Helen has dedicated herself to understanding how children with diverse needs learn, communicate, and connect with the world around them. Her expertise in Floortime—a relationship-based developmental approach—reflects her belief in meeting children where they are and building on their natural strengths and interests. This philosophy informs her advisory work at MindSproutLab, ensuring programs are inclusive, developmentally appropriate, and responsive to individual needs.
As both a practicing psychologist and a mother of two, Helen brings professional knowledge and personal insight to her work. Her understanding of neurodevelopmental differences and family-centered approaches helps shape programs that support not just children, but entire families navigating developmental challenges.
When she’s not working with families or advising on program development, Helen enjoys nature walks and reading, finding balance in the quiet moments that fuel her passion for helping children thrive.
Helen’s combination of advanced psychological training, specialized certification, and genuine compassion makes her an essential member of the MindSproutLab advisory team.
